St George's Run

Over 400 Classic cars of every description came to take part in the yearly St George's day Run and the weather was perfect as well.

Wensum TR Group had 25+ members take part, most did all of the drive and 12 TR cars arrived at Holkham + friends of members with their classic cars joined us too.

Each classic car was given the designated green or red route.

When we left Sheringham station car park (poste haste) there were many cars still coming in to register – it was a very busy area.

Reaching our rendezvous at beautiful Holkham Hall was indeed a bonus to the day-out. We overlooked the lake in our designated area & friends in their classic cars joined us as well.

For the rest of the day we all had a picnics, enjoyed chatting & viewing the lovely collection of classic cars assembled around the Hall.

All of the donations went to the Air Ambulance who were in attendance in their helicopter who gave a short flypast before they left to do their worthy work.
