Lavenham Carnival and Car Show 2015

OH WHAT A WASHOUT

After numerous telephone calls, 'The runs off. The runs on.' We decided to make the effort

and drive to the village of Lavenham for their Carnival and Car Show. After

constant rain on the way down we were met on arrival with yes even heavier

rain. It was surprising the number of cars that turned up, well done to all.

But enthusiasm could not overwhelm the weather. As the showground got wetter

and wetter the number of sodden Captain Mannerings and soaked children finally

took its toll and cars started to leave. A terrible shame for the volunteer organizers

and all their work but well done from all who attended. Better luck next year.

but the water must have even got into my camera and I have lost the lot.
