TRAction 297 report

Our annual dinner was held at The Plas Hafod Hotel in Mold on the 27th January and proved to be

excellent once again, 39 members enjoyed a 3 course meal. Thanks to Alan for organising the

evening again. Judy was the lucky winner of our in-house raffle of afternoon tea at Bodnant.

Thanks to all who donated to the raffle prizes. The car 'mice' were very popular and a real novelty

– thank you Brenda.

February meeting was held at the Druid Inn and doubled up as our AGM which well attended as

usual. Geoff presented the AGM minutes and treasurer's report, events for the forthcoming year

were discussed. The main topic this year was the end of a 2 year stint for Geoff as our group

leader who handed over the position to Malcolm Newman. Graham volunteered to be deputy

group leader for the next 12 months. Big thank you to Geoff for all his hard work over the past 2

years ably assisted by his wife Pauline. Thanks also to our treasurer of many years, Patrick for his

unstinting loyalty to the post. The first of our events is the Good Friday run on 14th April which

will be organised by Malcolm and Anne followed by Drive it Day on the 23rd April, Graham

volunteered to organise this.

The March meeting was held at the Druid Inn as all members appear to be in favour of this new

venue. Graham took the reins as Malcolm was unavailable. An unusually quiet meeting with only

15 members, welcome to new member Roger Clifford who has a TR6.

A few dates for your diary, just some of our events to look forward to but please check out our
