TR Action 290

I hope you are now all enjoying your TR's and in particularly the Devon group Meetings including the first Friday of the month evening meeting at the Rising Sun, Ashburton and third Friday night at the Halfway House, Cullompton.

I have again been amiss, so sorry for no Devon report in TRACTION issue 289. I therefore intend to quickly mention the past February, Sunday Lunch which was well attended by over 30 members and family at The White Hart, Moretonhamstead which went really well, great food, weather could have been better as I recall, but we still enjoyed the drive from our coffee morning at Bovey Tracy by Roger and Mo Stone's planned route. Thanks for organising a lovely day. The Sunday Lunch arranged by me in March at The Elizabethan maintained its normal excellent standard, fabulous food and excellent service.

There was no Sunday Lunch in April, it was decided to include it with our Devon Group Drive it Day. The outcome is not known at this time, because as I write this it has not occurred.

Other news, I again apologise while I will endeavour to always to keep you informed by email, I may not be able to provide you with all the updates as I have tried to give you in the past. You will be able to find these by logging on the TR Register Web site and go into local Groups, Devon and click on the PDF file Devon Group Calendar 2016. I am also informing members where I don't have an email address that sadly because of personal health circumstances I have decided to bring my retirement as group leader forward to July. I have spoken to Alan Burgess our current web support and he will take over my duties from then until our AGM in November his email address :- alanburgess@email.com 07964 970960. I will again ask our full members to please consider taking on the group leader roll, it's not difficult and can be rewarding.
