GL Derek Hurford says: “Hello and Happy 2015! Last year's October and November Sunday lunches saw us at two new venues and they both offered excellent food in a friendly atmosphere with pleasant helpful staff. All those attending stated how much they enjoyed these venues, and hopefully we will return to these again in the not too distant future. We had an excellent turnout in the beautiful setting of The Buckland–Tout-Saints Hotel, where we had our Christmas lunch. Thank you to all those attending and making the day an enjoyable one.

Well that's 2014 behind us, and we are now into 2015. We have a new Chairman Phil Tucker and a new South West Director (previously known as SW co-ordinator) Andy Spencer. I will be pleased to work with him and help to promote events in the South West. Following the vote at our AGM to approve his appointment we have a new web support, Alan Burgess who has taken over from the retiring Dennis Hobbs.

The Devon group Calendar is now available on our Devon group web page. There will be up dates as and when they occur, these will be shown in red. We have had a number of volunteers offering to help with Sunday lunches and the venues for these will also follow shortly. While there is no first or third Friday evening in the month meeting or Sunday lunch Devon group meeting in January, The Lympley Stoke weekend is the on 16th-18th, arranged by Lesley Swain: 01453 845184.

Our first group meeting will be Friday evening, February 6th at The Rising Sun, Woodland TQ13 7JT."
