LTRG - Fat Lamb weekend

The Leicestershire TR Group and friends will be visiting the Fat Lamb Country Inn for a weekend of driving, good food, good beer and fine company. The Fat Lamb is located between the market towns of Sedbergh and Kirkby Stephen just south of the picturesque village of Ravenstonedale within the Yorkshire Dales National Park but a short drive from the Lake District. This traditional 4 star Inn makes a superb base for exploring these two popular holiday areas, and the lesser known “North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”. The scenery all around the Fat Lamb is quite simply spectacular, and very varied. 12 TR Register members and partners are attending, (9 from LTRG & 3 from Derbyshire Dales Group). The dates for the event are 20-24th July 2023.

The 4 star hotel offers the following facilities for our Club Event

o 50 different driving routes from 50-200 miles avoiding main roads where possible

o Route planning service.

o Organisation of visits to various places of interest, to include national Trust Properties, Steam Rail Centres, boat trip on the lakes etc.

o Full workshop facilities including four post lift to sort out any minor glitches

o Full restaurant facilities, breakfast & evening meal.

o All rooms have now been taken.
