Kennet Valley Group. 12th July 2022 50th+ Celebration Day

                              The Great Boat trip and Barbeque

We are planning to leave and return to Sonning, using the Upper Thames Motor Yacht Club as our base, courtesy of Mike Thomas.

Provisionally we are scheduling a 2 hour drive around Berkshire and Oxfordshire, with as many people as possible to join the run en-route.

We would arrive at Sonning for a picnic lunch on the banks of the river. 

Departing on the boat at 1pm and returning at 6pm, this will get us down to Marlow or nearby and back.

The Barbeque will be round 7pm.  Note you will need to bring your picnic lunch and barbeque food with you for the day. the barbeque equipment will be provided for our use.

Members are able to bring guests with them  (one per each member).

Provisionally we will be charging £10.00 per member and £12.50 per guest. this covers the boat trip and use of the barbeque and parking, so a great deal as final costs will be provided  via the  Kennet Valley Group.

We need to know as soon as practical how many members and friends or family are likely to come to give some idea of the numbers to finalise things.
