Camb Followers 2019 WOTY to the Cotswolds

Our TR Weekend of the Year is a 4 day adventure into the Cotswolds over the weekend of 6-9th September.

The Cotswolds are an area of natural beauty, with some of the most picturesque villages and places of interest that the county has to offer. We plan to visit as many as we can cram into our few days, in this lovely part of the country.

The 18th Century 3* Royal George Hotel in Birdlip will be our base for the weekend, providing us with comfortable double room accommodation with bed & breakfast for £265 per couple for the 3 night stay. If you have any specific dietary needs, please advise us, so as we can notify the hotel directly.

To confirm your booking, please complete the booking page, along with the pre-booking of the places of interest you wish to visit. The full payment for the hotel is required 1 month in advance, so no later than 5th August, to enable us to make payment in your behalf.

Tour Itinerary

Friday 6th September

 10:00 Meet at the Thrapston Services (NN14 4UR) for a 10:30 departure  Lunch stop and afternoon in Bourton-on-the-Water  Check-in at our hotel by late afternoon

Saturday 7th September

 A guided tour of Gloucester Cathedral  A boat trip around the Gloucester docks  Drive through the Cotswolds taking in places of interest on the way

Sunday 8th September

 Classic Vehicle Show & Train Ride (Steam/Diesel) at the Gloucester Warwickshire Railway, Toddington

Monday 9th September

 Check-out from our hotel, ready to leave by 10:30 for a leisurely drive to Blenheim Palace  Departure at your leisure for your return journey home
