South Downs - PENSHURST PLACE & GARDENS - Entries Closed
PENSHURST PLACE & GARDENS NEAR TONBRIDGE – Sunday 4th August 2019
The original medieval house is one of the most complete surviving examples of 14th century domestic architecture in England. We will be taking a scenic drive there and have a dedicated parking area for us on arrival. All entries fully subscribed.
For those coming from the western side of our region there will be a 10-15am meet at the services on the Maresfield bypass.
For those coming from the eastern side of our region there will be a 10-45am meet in Groombidge Village Hall car park
The intention is to arrive at Penshurst Place for 11-15am. We have a reserved parking area for us on arrival which is within the main visitor car park adjacent to the exterior face of the walled garden.
If, for any reason, you wish to go direct to Penshurst then that is fine but please ensure you arrive by 11-15.
On arrival we must all enter together, so please do not try and do so individually.
