Shropshire Groups Joint Run with Northumbria Group

Visit to the Boston Lodge Engineering Works on the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway at Porthmadog with the Northumbria Group - Wednesday 3/7

During our recent tour of Northumbria we received enormous help from the Northumbria Group who we found extremely friendly. Northumbria Group ,members are staying in Llan Ffestiniog at the end of June/ beginning of July. Peter Napier has arranged for them on a guided tour of the Boston Lodge Engineering Works in Porthmadog where they build and repair steam engines for the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railway. We will join them and meet up at Salop Leisure, Emstrey, Shrewsbury, SY5 6QS at 09:30 for a PROMPT 10 am start.
