Derbyshire Dales Group - July Run through the Dove Valley
Derbyshire Dales Run, Sunday 29th July
This months run will assemble at Amber Hotel for a 10:15 am start.
We will be passing through the ancient capital of Mercia to the confluence of the rivers Dove and Trent, through the beer capital of Britain, past historic Tutbury to a comfort stop at the Salt Box Café. Nearly following the course of The Dove. On to the gateway to the Peak , swishing through "Swiss Chalet " village for lunch at Izaak Walton Hotel Dovedale steppingstones!!
A car park concours will be judged by IW staff. I know one of them is fond of Triumph Stags. So if you have a Stag you could have the edge?? Points will mean prizes!!!
We will aim to be at lunch by 1pm ish. A menu is attached for those that want it. Please let me know your choices and £5 deposit/person by Monday 23 July.
