29th August 2016
11th Blenheim Festival of Transport
Why not go to Blenheim Palace on August Bank holiday weekend for a favourite event of the whole calendar. Little wonder that this event has grown to be the major event in the classic vehicle calendar for the August bank holiday weekend.
This is a two day event with the emphasis on the Sunday being on classic cars with some really rare and exotic machinery on show. We widen the scope of the event on the Monday with a more general show to include classic cars, bikes, Minis, VWs, kit & custom cars, Americans, commercial and military vehicles. Last year we had over 10,000 visitors through Blenheim Palace over the course of the weekend with well over 1,000 display vehicles over the two days. As always we will have a strong club representation from the Oxford Motor Club, Cotswold Classic Car Club, Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, Porsche Club GB, CSMA, and a huge display from the TVR Car Club, especially on Monday. There will be individual classic car entries from the 1920s to the 1990s with lots of Jaguars, MGs, Triumphs plus bike entries from BSA, Norton, Triumph, Velocette etc.
