Nene Valley Brunch Run Out

Thanks to John and Margaret, who organised a route with a mystery pub destination for us, we enjoyed a splendid tour of the local countryside followed by a pub lunch on Sunday, May12th. This event doubled as our monthly breakfast meeting-hence the "brunch" in the title! We ended up at the Collyweston Slater, an appropriately named pub in the village of Collyweston, home of the lovely warm brown stone from which so many buildings have been constructed in Northamptonshire and the surrounding area for generations. We had eight cars and thirteen peopleon the run. Great driving, great food and great company-a good time was had by all!
