Glavon Group at Hawkesbury Upton Bonfire Night - 8th November 2025

Hawkesbury Upton village always put on an amazing bonfire and fireworks event with an incredible themed bonfire chosen by local school children and this year it featured a full size pirate ship complete with a full compliment of fearsome pirates. All pirates are thought to have to escape the ensuing conflagration to enjoy the fireworks display which followed! Members and friends then made their way over the road to The Beaufort Arms to enjoy an excellent meal and liquid refreshment. Well done Hawkesbury Upton village for putting on such a fantastic display - it takes a week for them to build the feature bonfire! Thanks also to Jane Jones for organising Glavon's attendance and the following meal as well as carrying out her volunteer duties as a villager herself.
