Social Scene 297

Hi fellow followers. Since last writing 24 of us sat down for a Saturday Lunch and natter on 21st January at the Goat at Frognal and again at The Three Horse shoes at Wistow on 18th February. It also gave us chance to give the cars a run. We were pleased to welcome Mark Smith from St Ives at our Meeting at The Three Horseshoes. He owns a TR3a. We also welcomed David Beardsley and Jo at The Millstone. Mark lives at Warmington and is now restoring a TR from chassis up.

The newly formed Events Committee met on 7th February to plan the year's events and the calendar has been subsequently distributed to our group. They meet again on 18th April. We also plan to arrange various ad hoc events throughout the year including some midweek runs. We plan to keep the group informed as to what is going to happen by email and our website as shown below. This will of course be ideal for any ad hoc runs we plan and I feel this will be better due to lead time required for the the magazine and sometimes late publish date.
