The 2026 Shakedown Road Run is hosted by Chesterfield MG Group. It will commence from 9am on 19th April at the Jolly Farmer public house, Pentland Road, Dronfield Woodhouse, S18 8ZQ.

The run is open to all makes of sports or classic car. The 65-mile scenic drive passes through rural Nottinghamshire and into Lincolnshire with The Trolley Bus Museum at Sandtoft near Doncaster as the final destination. At the Museum we will have our own dedicated parking area on the exhibition field and there will be opportunities to photograph your car alongside the trolley buses. Entry includes unlimited rides on the trolley buses, admission to all the museum facilities and the café.

The entry fee is £30 per car, which includes Running Board, Road Book and 2 vouchers for Tea & Coffee at the start, entry into the Trolley Bus Museum at Sandtoft and 2 vouchers for Tea & Coffee in the Tea Trolley Café at Sandtoft. These will be given to you when you check in at the start.

Entrants may purchase hot breakfast butties at the start and snacks will be available at the Tea Trolley Café.
