Shropshire Group's Visit to the Armstrong Siddeley Open Day

In 1972 when Rolls Royce decided to stop supporting the Armstrong Siddeley brand they inherited as part of the Hawker Siddeley business, the Armstrong Siddely Owners Club purchased all items they had in stock.

To this day they maintain this stock commissioning new items as needed to support these luxury cars all over the world. Their base, the Armstrong Siddeley Heritage Trust, is here in Shropshire and they are inviting visitors to an open day on March 29th.

What will we see:

  • ASOC parts department with the racks of spares and a few project cars for sale

  • ASHT top floor with the original board room furniture and library

  • ASHT middle floor will have approx8 to 10 larger artefacts (not cars) on display including 2 aero engines, a Mark VIII torpedo engine, a cut away Siddeley special engine and 2 scale model motor torpedo boats - all with connections to Armstrong Siddeley

  • ASHT ground floor display 4 of the Heritage cars
