Join us for the Kennet Valley Group ‘Drive It Day’ 2026 — a wonderful excuse to get our TR sports cars out where they truly belong: on the open road. Our 2026 destination is the fascinating Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, and the journey promises to be just as memorable as the arrival.

We’ll set off together from the Waitrose Newbury car park at 10.00 to leave at 10.30, where you’ll receive easy-to-follow ‘Tulip’ route instructions. From there, we’ll wind our way through the beautiful Hampshire and Wiltshire countryside — the kind of sweeping roads and scenic vistas that make driving a TR such a joy.

Along the way, we’ll include carefully planned stops to stretch legs, chat cars, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes these events so special. Lunch will be arranged at the Collection or nearby, giving everyone time to explore the remarkable aircraft exhibits.

Boscombe offers ample safe parking, and we’re planning an iconic Kennet Valley Group photo opportunity outside the hangar doors — a perfect backdrop for our cars and a moment to remember.

The return route will be just as enjoyable; with a relaxed afternoon tea stop to round off a superb day’s motoring.
