LVG Annual BBQ

Loretta and Howard kindly offered us the use of a suitable location to hold what seems to becoming an annual event. The sun shone and we all had a wonderful afternoon chatting and playing garden games, before a leisurely drive home, most with tops down.

Once again Howard was Chef and Quizmaster, but we all know that behind every successful man is a woman and Loretta did not sit down all day, while making sure we all had a drink and someone to chat to. Thank you Loretta.

GL, Phil Sanford was close to  winning “Play Your Cards Right” with a nice low 3 with just one card to be turned…….. but you don’t get anything for a pair……not in this game. Howard turned over another 3 for the last card. It was left to member, John R to win for the second year running. John doesn’t have a TR, but a nice MGB. We allow a wide variety of members to belong, but if he keeps winning each year, we may have to review that approach!!!

Ten TR’s were parked in the paddock, with around 25 people enjoying the day.

Paresh and Jo leaving on the day. Paresh was especially pleased, as the 75 mile round trip was the furthest they have ventured since getting the TR4A. It didn’t miss a beat all day, proving, nowhere’s far in a TR.
