LVG enjoy Pirton Classic Car Show

The Pirton Vintage and Classic Vehicle show is a firm favourite for LVG and this year did not disappoint. The sun shone and some would say it was too hot, but Phil, our GL secured a covered area that gave us good shade and there was a light breeze to cool us down.

A nice turnout of cars with an original RHD factory built TR8. Graham has owned the car for over 40 years and it is great to see him joining into some of our events again.

Phil also, arranged cake courtesy of LVG and this went down well with members and visitors alike.

This years show was probably the best to date. The Sports ground was pretty full and the bar and ice cream seller were all doing a roaring trade. It’s amazing how much the sunshine contributes to a shows success and with this one in aid of charity, it is great to be supportive.
