This was the 28th holding of the picnic and this year, was held on a gloriously warm day, in direct contrast to last year. A number of LVG members are also members of the local group of the Triumph Sports Six Club and so it was, that there were two LVG members, Mike Aldridge and Pierre Miles, supporting the TSSC, helping, hopefully, to arrange tidy organised parking of the numerous Triumphs and other classics that came along on the day. There was no major flying display on the day but plenty of flying still took place, possibly in preparation of the big day later in the month when Duxford celebrates the Battle of Britain.
