There was no way some LVG members would miss these celebrations at Shuttleworth. Seventeen DH60 aircraft attended from far and wide, with another 60 De Havilland aircraft of various variants. The event spanned 2 days with dry weather on day one, but we attended on day two and it was damp and overcast most of the day. We still enjoyed the day and despite the British weather, the planes were able to fly and give us a display of iconic aircraft, some of which were just short of 100 years old.
