4 LVG cars joined our friends at TSSC to visit Fawley Hill, which was the home of Sir William McAlpine (the construction man), who built a full size steam railway in his garden. His widow now invites people to attend open days just a few times each year. Just a Diesel was running on our visit, but it was still fun to ride the goods wagon through the grounds. The place is also a museum of many rail and transport antiquities.
