1973 Sapphire Blue TR6. Between 2020 and 2022 the car underwent a comprehensive restoration. This included a bare metal re spray; engine rebuild; replacement overdrive gearbox, new upholstery and carpets; new mohair hood, new stainless steel exhaust system complete with twin pipes. Since then the car has covered à mere 6,333 miles. I purchased the car in March 2026 for £21,000 for trips out with my wife, who sadly has dementia . Only used on dry days, it has been a great success. Unfortunately my wife’s health has deteriorated rapidly, to the extent she has now had to move into a specialist Care Home. As I now have to cover costly care home fees, Ive reluctantly decided to sell the car.
