- Tony unexpectedly bought a
barn-stored TR5
after a chance conversation at Tatton Park - Car had been
off the road since 1988
and stored 38 years - TR Register history showed a
chassis replacement in the early 80s
- Named
“Ladybird”
due to red paint, rust spots, and registration “LDB” - Car now
running
, with sympathetic renovation planned to retain character Welding and mechanical work next; not a full restoration
