Our annual Summer Picnic this year was hosted by David and Celia Dawson at their home and gardens  in Bicker, near Boston.  The weather played it's part providing another balmy summers day.   28 classic cars attended, not all TR Lincs members, 3 outstanding E Type's gathered together in the parking area along with a splendid Morris Minor 1000 ex-Police car.
As per previous years David, Tim S and myself had the previous day laid out a driving course in the field beyond the lawn area of the garden.   Once the picnic was over several very keen competitors took to the course in their cars, which included two must visit garage areas all against the clock and a penalty system for hitting a cone.  The rules allowed for multiple go's as long as you allowed at least one other person to have a go after your turn.  The TR Lincs Group members results were,

Emon K  TR6 = 48 secs (second attempt)
Alistair K  TR4a = 51 secs (second attempt)
David D  TR3 = 56 secs (first attempt)
Helen S  TR3 = 64 secs (with 5 sec penalty)

There were a total of 23 attempts at the course, several using David's VW Golf soft top which was up for sale at the time.  There were two faster times by non-TR Lincs members, Adrian (not Lawton) was the quickest in David's TR3 at 45 secs, and Alan in his Morris Minor 1000 ex-Police car with a 46 secs.

It all made for an exceptional day, our thanks again to David and Celia, without their generosity this event would not take place.
