Since the last report three TVG members camped at the Le Mans Classic in early July, sadly the last time that our friends the TSSC could have their excellent campsite beside the circuit. A good trip although the meeting is now annual and split with the cut off at 1975 and this year was the later, louder, faster but less interesting cars.

Later in July we had the Bromley Pageant now relocated to Ardingly and the Brooklands Autojumble and car show. There was a good showing at a very hot Cranleigh show on the 9th June with a dozen TVG cars on display and at the Capel show on the 15th where many group members who didn't go to Malvern displayed their cars.

There was a fairly large contingent of TVG members at the Car Club Fest at Malvern. The site looked rather empty on Friday evening but filled up remarkably the next day with many different clubs in evidence. There was an eminently sensible ban on any barbeques but the hardy campers managed some delicious cooked breakfasts and, in place of our "traditional" TVG Saturday evening barbeque, some 21 members and partners sat down to a convivial gathering with adequate food and some drink. 

A damp Surrey Oaks on Sunday 30th saw 10 TR's in the car park while their occupants enjoyed the beer festival and live music.

Plans are in the early stages for the Autumn Colours Run, provisionally on 30th September and starting as usual from Rykas' car park at Box Hill. 

Our regular meetings are at the Stepping Stones pub in Westhumble, Dorking (RH5 6BS) on the third Wednesday of each month from 20:00 and our Sunday lunchtime meetings on the last Sunday of the month at the Surrey Oaks (RH5 5DZ), starting at 12:00.
