Lea Valley Group have mid week evening meetings during the warmer months and we kicked off 2026 with a meeting at The Red Lion in Preston (Nr Hitchin, Hertfordshire). Just before the event we found out the chef had taken a finger off with a sharp knife, so was not working. The Landlady was most organised and put on a reduced menu that satisfied everyone and the food was really nice.

7 TR’s and 16 people attended on a rather cool evening and everyone made it home without any mechanical issues. A great start to our mid week meetings. The next one will be Wednesday 6th May.
