Lea valley attended this years Laon Historique. We had a strong showing with 11 cars making the trip. Some of the group extended the trip by having a couple of days in le touquet prior to the event. The trip started for some of us with a very wet journey to the channel tunnel. But once in France the weather slowly improved and were then subjected to a very hot few days. We had a few niggles with some of the cars but nothing that could not be sorted. On the whole they all performed well considering the temperature. The Laon Historique was very well organised,and comprised of a run out, around the local countryside on the Saturday. Sunday was a closed street parade with all the locals coming out to watch. Many different cars even a steam cart !

This was a great trip and needless to say plenty great food and socialising .
