February mid month meeting - Saturday 21st

 Britwell Salome is located approximately 1.5 miles to the south west of Watlington on the B4009 Benson road, where The Red Lion and its car park are on the left hand side, adjacent to the road. (Please note, especially for those considering braving it in your TR’s, that there are some potholes at both the entrance to and in the car park itself).

 Where I have made an initial booking, please would you confirm back to me as quickly as possible (either by text or e-mail) that hopefully you will be able to join us, in order that I can then confirm our exact numbers to The Red Lion.

 I therefore look forward to hearing back from you and to hopefully seeing you there at 12 noon on Saturday 21st.

As an additional point of interest, after lunch and for those who wish to visit it, as some of us did last year, there is then the highly renowned

Snowdrop Festival weekend at St Botolph’s Church at

Swyncombe (Postcode RG9 6EA

), which is approximately 4 miles to the south east of Watlington and just off of the B481 road toward Nettlebed. They serve tea and cakes there from 2.00pm until 4.00pm!

 Finally and as mentioned at Wednesday’s meeting, as I will be away in March, I will not be able to arrange the March mid monthly and would therefore be most appreciative if someone would liaise with Peter and make the necessary arrangements, where it is scheduled to take place over the weekend of Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd March. In April, we have “Drive it Day” and in May, our mid monthly will be the barbeque at The Bull & Butcher in Ludgershall, as arranged by Bruce & Lynda, so it is only the March mid monthly that needs arranging.
