Devon Social Scene Report 362

Our TR year started in January with some members joining Lesley Swain, enjoying the annual weekend away in Limpley Stoke, near Bath. Thanks to Lesley for organising another great weekend. Some have already given their deposit for January 2027. 

The Wednesday monthly meetings started in February at our regular pub, The Traveller's Rest. A good number got together for the first meet of the year. There was plenty of TR banter and a year ahead to look forward to when the cars finally can come out of hibernation and skies turn blue again with the hope of no rain. 

February Sunday Lunch was arranged by Roger and Maureen Stone. Thank you Roger for finding an excellent venue again, The Nobody Inn, Doddiscombsleigh. It was well attended with 34 for a delicious roast and a meetup first for coffee at Powderham Cafe. Four TRs in total braved the wet muddy narrow lanes of Devon and others glad to know their TRs were still safely tucked up, cosy and warm in the garage. Hopefully, after all the winter projects are completed, in March we will be seeing more classic TRs out and about.
