There's something rather special about combining Triumph TRs with a traditional cream tea, and that's exactly what 14 Kennet Valley Group members enjoyed at Hillier Garden Centre, Aldermaston.

Thanks to a fantastic offer from Hillier, members tucked into a delicious cream tea for just £5 each – exceptional value and very much appreciated by everyone who came along. Our hosts had thoughtfully reserved a table for the group, giving us the perfect opportunity to relax, chat and put the world to rights over freshly baked scones, jam, cream and plenty of tea. A BIG THANK YOU to Holly and the team at Hillier!

Outside, our line-up of TR's, Stag, MG and 2 MX5s looked every bit as inviting as the refreshments inside. Parked together in the car park, the cars attracted plenty of admiring glances from visitors, with several stopping to take a closer look and chat with members about the marque.

It was particularly good to see Martin back out enjoying his beautifully presented powder blue TR4, which looked absolutely stunning in the summer sunshine and added another splash of colour to the line-up.

Simple events like these remind us that KVG isn't just about the cars, it's about good friends, good conversation and making the most of every opportunity to get our Triumphs out on the road. A big thank you to Hillier Garden Centre for their warm welcome and generous hospitality. We hope to return again before too long!
