August Evening Sunshine Brings Out the TRs

The August Kennet Valley Group club meet was blessed with one of those perfect summer evenings that reminds us exactly why we own TRs. With the sun shining and the weather behaving itself for once, eight Triumph TRs lined the car park, providing an impressive display for members and passers-by alike.

It was especially good to welcome Tim McInerney, who arrived in his stunning left-hand-drive powder blue TR3A. The beautifully presented car certainly attracted plenty of admiring glances and sparked more than a few conversations throughout the evening.

In total, 21 members gathered for another enjoyable club meet, catching up over the usual mix of tyre kicking, friendly banter and plenty of motoring chat. As always, there was no shortage of tales from recent runs, ongoing restorations, future plans and the odd bit of good-natured exaggeration!

Of course, no KVG club night would be complete without our traditional Tyre Kick, Natter, Nosh & Noggin, with everyone making the most of the excellent company, good food and refreshments.

With another successful club meet behind us, all eyes now turn to the TR Register's biggest event of the year – Club Car Fest at Malvern, 14th–16th August. Whether you're camping for the weekend or just joining us for the day, we hope to see as many Kennet Valley Group members there as possible. Let's make sure KVG is out in force, flying the flag with a fantastic turnout of TRs and, as always, plenty of laughter, friendship and enthusiasm. Safe travels to everyone making the journey – see you at Malvern!

Another superb summer evening, proving once again that whether you arrive in a concours TR, a well-used daily driver or simply come along for the company, the Kennet Valley Group continues to offer one of the friendliest club nights around.
