Our next meeting will be on Saturday 24th October. Aidan’s message below give the full details.
“Dear Chiltern TR Colleagues,
I’m pleased to confirm that for our October mid monthly get together, that we will be returning to The Seven Stars at Dinton (Postcode HP17 8UL) on Saturday lunchtime 24th October, meeting there at just before 12 noon.
The charismatic landlady Steph, who we’ve met before, has rightly suggested that if we get there before midday (they open at 12 noon), then we can all park together in the car park and even double park amongst ourselves, thereby not blocking in any other customers.
In addition to the car park, there is also parking in the quiet road outside.
The Seven Stars (www.sevenstarsdinton.com) is located just off the A418 Thame to Aylesbury road, it is a successful community owned pub, the food is very good, as we have enjoyed previously and there is a good selection of quality local beers.
For those who have not been there before, in terms of directions, when travelling along the A418 from Thame toward Aylesbury, please take the first Dinton signposted right hand turn adjacent to the speed camera, after you have passed the (currently closed) Bottle & Glass pub at Gibraltar.
Alternatively, if travelling along the A418 toward Thame from the Aylesbury area, please take the second Dinton signposted left hand turn, again adjacent to the speed camera.
Where I have already made an initial booking for the group, please would you let me know if you are able to join us, either by e-mail, or text, so that I can then confirm the exact numbers to The Seven Stars.
Thanks, I look forward to hearing back from you and to hopefully seeing you on the 24th.
Best regards
Aidan
