Hello All.

David and Judith have kindly offered to organise the drive in October.

In conjunction with the Holmfirth members we will meet at the Bowshaw Trout, Penistone Rd, Hade Edge @ 9.30 am on Sunday 11th October.

It will be a short drive on to our bonus which is a visit to Wortley Top Forge Museum - David is a volunteer so has arranged for our visit.

The forge is a water powered heavy iron forge dating back to 1640. It is being renovated and mainatained by volunteers and well worth a visit. Entrance is £5 which obviously goes to maintaining the museum.

Afterwords we are going to The Wortley Arms for lunch.

It is important that you let me or David know if you are attending as he has to give numbers for the meal - there may also be a deposit to pay - David will advise.

If the Bowshaw Trout is a bit too far/early for our Sheffield memebers, when David has confirmed the visit, I will let you know what time if you just want to join us to visit the museum and have lunch.
