WHARFEDALE POST CHRISTMAS CHRISTMAS WALK & MEAL

The Wharfedale annual post Christmas Christmas meal saw us at the The Malt in Harden near Bingley. Organised by Ken & Jan Bailey the day was very cold but sunny, rain had been forecast for later but it held off for us.

We met at Stephen Smiths Garden Centre at 11am for a coffee and bacon butties before the walk. The walk was 2.5 miles around Bingley St Ives, skirting the golf course, one of the many available walks in this great location.

The meal was booked for 2pm and a hearty feast was had by all, it is traditional for Ken to get out his quiz book and set some fiendish questions for us, this year it was celebrity picture spotting, supplemented by general knowledge stuff, thanks Ken.

Another great, well attended event.
