All Triumph and Classic day at Duxford IWM 2019

Report from today’s All Triumph and Classic day at Duxford IWM organised by the TSSC. This was the Herts and Beds Area 's 26th All triumph and Classic Day at Duxford. Despite the beautiful weather less than a 100 cars joined the meeting which was a shadow of previous years where 100,s of cars turned up from Early Triumph Mayflower up to more modern classics like the TR8. The Herts and Beds team laid on a wonderful marquee with food and drink for those that attended with a TSSC shop full of goodies for the classic car owner at discounted prices. Duxford is always a good place for a visit with so much to see. I joined a tour of a Lancaster bomber with an excellent presentation given by the Duxford guides. In addition to the TSCC cars there were a few TR Register members in attendance plus some individual cars of differing marques but the event was so much smaller than I remembered possibly due to the cost of entry which was £16 per person. Even for a sports two seater £32 is a lot especially if you are on a pension.
