TR Action London Group report for issue 307

TR Action London Group report for issue 307

Well first things first my sincere apologises for the lack of report in the last two editions of TR action, but please don't think for one moment that no report equals no action, we in London Group have been busy, very busy. So as a sort of chronological list 12 London Group members supported the TR stand at the London Classic Car show, 13 cars span around Thruxton Skid pan, 4 cars span around Castle Combe at the TR Track event thanks to Kev. We had a very good turn out for Drive it day somehow a picture of us got into issue 306 page 65, thank you South Downs Group, 15 plus cars attended the Brooklands Breakfast meet, we filled both our allotted space and half of another, 15 odd cars attended our trip to Fawley hill steam museum (big thanks to David Boucher for organising even though ultimately he could not attend) Alan Jones and few other attended Laon , 7 cars attended our first Pub Run of the Year a beautiful drive over the Surrey hills followed by a great meal at the Scarlett Arms who really looked after us. London Group also attended for the first time, but definitely not the last, The Black Swan classic breakfast event. Important events included Ron Thorn unveiling his beautifully restored TR3A, David Boucher's' God son got married, we sorted out our GDPR stuff, I started a new job which may explain the lack of reports and John Collins got his Engine back for his TR3A. So, what's in store for London Group, well Classic Le mans is a major event for the London Group and fair ole few of us are coming up to Lincoln for the IWE, Bicester Flywheel regional event, Warlingham Classic Show to name but a few. We will almost certainly have another Pub run and of course our 2 Group meetings each month.

So finally, then come and join us for a noggin and a natter over a beer, you are most welcome. You can generally find us on the third Thursday of every month at the Star Inn Malden Rushett or on the 1st Thursday of the month at different locations (more often than not the Rose of York in Richmond) but, please keep an eye on your emails or on the web site http://www.tr-register.co.uk/group/london - both Club nights now start from about 8:30pm
