TR Lincolnshire 2021 Events

With the vaccine roll out started and the predictions for an improvement in the lockdown conditions expected around Easter, if everything goes according to plan, we should be able to resume our activities once more and get out there again. I have published the first preliminary 2021 events calendar which you can download by clicking here. It is also on the TR Lincs page of the TR Register website and that will be where the most up to date version will always reside, I suggest that you save the link here into you favourites bookmark so it's always at hand. It goes without saying that everything is subject to the Covid-19 restrictions so events may not happen as planned. Also don't forget to keep an eye on our events page on the website for a more detailed listing of the events and the current status of each. I have highlighted some of our 2021 outings below as an appetiser.

Unfortunately our first venture into a Zoom meeting this month, where a presentation on classic car insurance was planned by the TR Register Insurance team, had to be cancelled as we had only two people expressing an interest in joining in. That was a shame! As you'll see from the events calendar we have our AGM scheduled in March but at this time I don't know if that will happen physically, virtually or not at all. Watch this space

Keep safe and see you soon.

Also please note the new dates for the Northumberland tour, if you couldn't make the previous June dates then how about joining us in September, let me know as soon as you can please. Full listing can be found on the 2021 calendar.

A warm TR Lincs welcome to David Furnival, who following a house move to Spalford, has transferred to us from Trent Group. David owns a sapphire blue TR6 which has had lots of 'go faster' goodies added to it to make it a very interesting car. He's also a proud owner of another very special car as well, but I'll let him tell you all about them when we hopefully meet up with him soon. Nick Dawes has recently published a book recounting his adventures cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats on a £25 bike! The book entitled "Calling The Fat Pillock's Bluff: Cycling Britain on a Twenty Five Quid Bike" is available on Amazon. Give it a read.
