Christmas Skittles Night

There was a good turn-out of 31 people for the Christmas meal with two extras showing up for the meeting followed by skittles.

Everyone joined in the Christmas theme with a splendid array of Christmas hats and jumpers and a particular eye-catching couple of sexy little Elf and Mrs Claus dresses! Paul represented the 'bah humbug' contingent to ensure that the Christmas silliness was kept to a manageable level!

The business of the meeting being complete, a lively Skittles match kicked off. Two teams were formed, with couples being separated onto different teams, which led to an atmosphere of healthy competitiveness! Dick, resplendent in Christmas cardigan and fortified by a glass of mulled wine, monitored the competition closely. A range of skittle skills were on display in front of a rowdy rabble of onlookers. A couple of people skillfully managed to avoid all the skittles whilst others flung the 'cheese' with extreme force. Less is more, however, and the slow and steady bowlers seemed to have more success.

Team B won both rounds, gracefully wiping the floor with Team A.
