Leicestershire TRipe February 2017
As it's a fairly quiet time of the year, with many cars hibernating, the only event we have had recently was a Sunday lunch. A group of 26 met at the Queen's Head in Billesdon for a traditional lunch with a choice of roasts followed by pudding. Judging by the level of conversation, you would think we hadn't seen each other for years. And it wasn't all about cars although Steve and Dee did turn up in theirs!
At our February group meeting, Martin Faulkner circulated an updated statement of our accounts, to reflect the position now he has taken over the Treasurer's role from Rachael.
The new Group Leader and two Deputies have now agreed their responsibilities as follows, Tony -Overseas events, weekends away, Andy - Local and Leicestershire events including Sunday lunches and Phil - Group raids, spares days.
The remainder of the meeting was spent discussing future events, which will provide us with another busy year. These will be advertised on our website in due course.
