Kennet Valley Group attend a Summer Spring Vehicle Meet
KVG members, attended the delayed Spring Vehicle Meet at Newbury Showground, meeting at Chieveley Service was a good start to the day, when a rare and very early 1960 TVR Grantura pulled alongside, the owner was off to Hampton Court Classic, a little more 'up market' than our venue for the day.
Despite the organisers not being able to allocate club stand space, KVG'ers were able park together and fly the banners.
The morning started cloudy, but eventually the sun shone and created picnic weather.
A new member was signed up who was very keen on Toney & Tina Dines superb TR3A, he is now going to get club support in searching for his dream of owning a TR3A.
There was a excellent spread of different classics marque and a large American car attendance, of course there was a good selection of autojumble and trade stands.
Members enjoyed the event and the sunshine, especially when we convinced the Ice Cream Van to come to where we were exhibiting and was rewarded with a big queue of customers.
An excellent event and it won't be long until the next one usually Easter Monday each year, see you there.
