Finally after 16 months, a Kennet Valley Group Club Night!

Finally after 16 months, a Kennet Valley Group Club Night!

After 16 months of lock down, Kennet Valley Group held their first Club night since lock down started, this was combined with a BBQ at the Angel Woolhampton The Angel put on a great BBQ and certainly had spent a lot of time and money over the lock down on improvements in and out of the pub with a great covered outdoor area.

36 members attended the evening and the ambience was certainly of relief and joy of being able to get out and about again. Amongst the 'crowd' were 4 new members, Duncan Bradley, Steve Parker, David Williams & Hannah Goldsmith and John & Gaye Rice who were welcomed into the Group with their lovely TR's.

15 beautiful classic had 'flooded' into the car park, certainly is was the best looking full car park in the area including the interloper MX5.

The number 46 was also significant on the night, Mike Gush who has the KVG longest membership, finally brought his TR to a club night for the first time in 46 years, and certainly his superb TR3A was well worth waiting for.

$6 was also significant for Tim Moore who brought his TR7 LHD FHC he found burnt out in Spain and has restored and rebuilt her, why 46, driving to the Angel added a further 46 miles to the only 10 miles done since getting his TR7 back on the road.
