Kennet Valley TR Group Members enjoy Burghclere Family Fun Day & Classic Show

A potential TR5 owner of the future?

Kennet Valley TR Group Members attended this is a small but typical village fun day event, which includes a few classic cars on display for visitors to peruse. Run by a committee at the social club, which includes one of our own members Ralph Colombo, who owns a TR4.

It is mainly an afternoon fun day for the families and especially for children, with several 'fun' stalls, bouncy castle, raffles and sweet stalls, among others. Also for this year they have built a miniature steam railway around the recreation ground, with rides for adults and children alike for a small fee.

There is a bar which was open, and some live musical entertainment. Around 40 classic vehicles were in attendance, along with a couple of tractors, and a couple of miniature steam traction engines.

Encouraged to arrive from 10:30, but nothing much happens until the afternoon. Only the KVG Committee member Mike Field and two other KVG members were in attendance, it was a pleasant warm sunny day out with fellow classic enthusiasts.
