Strong TR Register attendance at Shalbourne Classic Car Show
This was the 9th Shalbourne Classic Carshow, from what started as humble beginnings as an add on to a local village fete raising funds for the church roof, it has now blossomed into a well thought off late season classic event.
12 TR Register cars attended mainly from Kennet Valley TR Group but also from local Groups such as Vale of the White Horse and Wessex, and probably the further travelled was a Grinnall FHC of Paul Phillips from Islington, London.
Alongside our friends from the local TSSC, we had a strong showing of the Triumph marque which as usual created lots of interest to the admiring public.
With at least 300 cars plus at the event with some wonderful examples from the 1920's onward, this show is a pleasure to attend, and with the local village stalls, such as cakes, tombola, local crafts, it's sure to beat the £15,000 raised last year, so why not put the 10th show in your October 2017, first weekend?
