Glavon Group at the Traws Cambria Weekend 29th April - 2nd May 2022

Six Glavon TRs motored over to Llandrindod Wells for a great weekend organised by Y Ddraig Goch Group. Andy West had devised routes for each day and the trip over on the Friday took us via the old Severn Bridge, Usk, Abergavenny and over the Gospel Pass to a lunch stop at Hay on Wye and then over some lovely quiet roads via Painscastle to the Metropole Hotel at Llandrindod Wells. Saturday's route of 167 miles took us over the hills with some amazing views, to Barmouth and then down the coast to Aberdovey before heading back to base. Sunday brought some misty and drizzly weather for a tour via Llyn Brianne, Tregaron and the Elan Valley. It was homeward bound on Monday through more beautiful scenery to a lunch stop at Monmouth before going our own ways. Four days of great scenery, lovely roads (480 miles) and good company.
