Glavon Group New Year Walk - 9th January 2022

After meeting at The Bell Inn at Frampton on Severn for coffee, 29 members and friends enjoyed a walk which firstly took us along the towpath of the Gloucester to Sharpness Canal. The route continued through open farmland, then skirting some attractive lakes which were formerly gravel pits, past the imposing Frampton Court and back across the village green which is said to be the longest in England and is bordered by some lovely historic houses.                                           

We were then back at The Bell where we were joined by several more who were unable to do the walk, for a well deserved and excellent roast lunch.
