Glavon Group Christmas Dinner - 11th December 2021

After missing out last year because of Covid, we managed to get together this year at The Royal Oak, Wotton-Under-Edge for our traditional Christmas Dinner. 35 members sat down for an excellent meal, served piping hot and delicious. The ambience was great and the service faultless. The meal was followed by the customary raffle, quiz and awards where Jane Jones was awarded the Bright Spark award for her articles in Glavon News and the Group Leader's award went to Christina Richmond for all her hard work in producing Glavon News.  The Wally of the Year was won by Noel Jones, who earlier in the year organised a run from The Royal Oak and the very first instruction was to turn right on exiting the car park instead of left, resulting in participants driving in all directions before they worked out what was intended.
