East Riding Group - Tim & Debbie’s Run Report - May 2024
‘A select few cars were able to join us on our ‘Hole of Horcum’ run on May 12th. It was a prompt start from Bishop Burton and with the sun shining we set off northwards heading for a refreshment stop on the edge of the North York Moors. Our journey took us through Bracken, Sledmere and Yedingham before turning in Thornton Le Dale and heading for Lockton where we had a very pleasant coffee and cake stop on the village green under the shade of the trees.
The cars then opened their throttles along the renowned A169, taking in beautiful views and passing the ‘Hole of Horcum’ before heading east towards the coast and ending in Robin Hoods Bay where we ate a delicious Sunday roast meal overlooking the sea. The return journey home was equally scenic back through Silpho and Troutsdale.
Thank you to those who joined us and we hope to see more cars next year, perhaps on a less busy weekend.’
Best regards
Tim & Debbie
