Our next meeting will be lunch time on Saturday 22nd March at The Red Lion in Chalgrove OX44 7SS. As Aidan is away for a few days R&R in the sun, we are grateful to Des for standing in and making the bookings. He says -
Dear Chiltern TR Colleagues,
Our March mid monthly get together will be for lunch on Saturday 22nd March at the picturesque family run “Free House” pub The Red Lion (www.redlionchalgrove.com) at 115 High Street Chalgrove OX44 7SS, meeting there at 12 noon.
It’s been some years since we last visited The Red Lion here but it still has a very good reputation for its food. Furthermore, it is not to be confused with The Red Lion at Britwell Salome that we visited back in February.
The Red Lion unfortunately doesn’t have its own car park but there is a car park a very short walk away at the end of the lane opposite, which runs alongside the Crown pub. It is also possible to park in front of the Crown pub, which is a public car parking area.
With Aidan being away, where I have made an initial booking, please would you confirm back to me as quickly as possible (either by text to 07776-201359, or by e-mail to dgilmore@btinternet.com) that hopefully you will be able to join us, in order that I can then confirm our exact numbers to The Red Lion.
